May Family Support Group

About this live event

Our monthly Virtual Family Support Group is a free, open space for families and loved ones impacted by addiction and mental health challenges. Held the week after each educational webinar, this group offers a chance to reflect on the previous topic, ask questions, and engage in meaningful conversation with clinical team members and fellow families. Whether you’re seeking clarity about treatment, guidance on supporting a loved one in recovery, or simply a place to feel less alone, this group is here for you. Come as you are. We are gathering space for community, support, and shared understanding.

  • David Ludlow

    David Ludlow is the Executive Director of Promises Brazos Valley, where he is dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate the challenges of addiction and recovery with compassion and clarity. With extensive experience in behavioral healthcare leadership, David has spent his career improving access to high-quality care while supporting strong clinical outcomes and safe, supportive treatment environments.

    As someone in long-term recovery himself, David brings both professional expertise and personal understanding to his work. He is deeply committed to creating spaces where families feel heard, supported, and empowered throughout the recovery process. Known for his collaborative leadership style, David works closely with clinical teams, community partners, and families to foster trust, improve communication, and strengthen the path toward lasting recovery.
